Please Note: NO FIREWORKS this year because of dry conditions. Due to the dry conditions in the City of Delavan, Mayor Mel Nieuwenhuis and Fire Chief Neill Flood have decided to cancel this year’s Independence Day fireworks display in the City of Delavan.
The City of Delavan will be hosting the 10th Annual Let Freedom Ring Fourth of July Parade on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, beginning at 3:00 pm. We appreciate your participation in and support of past years’ celebrations, and invite you to do so again this year. Our celebration continues to grow each year, and we hope to have the largest Fourth of July parade in Walworth County. If you know of other interested individuals or groups, or have questions, please contact the Parks and Recreation Department at 262-728-5585 Ext 132. Thank you again for your continued participation in making this a memorable occasion in our city and country’s history.

All other events will go on as scheduled including the Pancake Breakfast, Parade, Carnival and the Kings Highway band performance.
