Plans and Projects

UPCOMING 2010 WATER AND SEWER PROJECTS:

Water & Sewer Projects Being Completed In Conjunction With The 2010 Public Works Projects
1. S. Second Street Project

Walworth Avenue to Phoenix Street, will consist of the relocation of five water service valve boxes.

2. Sunshine Avenue

from Racine Street to the south end, will consist of the installation of one water service.

3. W. Wisconsin Street

from Vine Street to Spring Street, will consist of the replacement of a 6-inch water main with an 8-inch water main and replacement of five water services.

4. Vine Street

from Washington Street to Wisconsin Street, will consist of the replacement of one sanitary sewer manhole.

5. Brook Lane

from Washington Street to Vine Street, will consist of installation of an 8-inch water main loop from the north end of Brook Lane to Vine Street and installation of one fire hydrant. Project also consists of the installation of two sanitary sewer manholes.

6. N. Second Street

from Walworth Avenue to McDowell Street, will consist of the retirement of a 4-inch water main and the reconnection of four water services to the existing 12-inch water main.

The Utility will be installing sanitary sewer liners at various locations as determined by televising reports to be completed in May 2010.
