Notices to Citizens

The City is beginning its 10-year update of the Comprehensive Plan. This document provides a guide for decision makers, establishes a vision, goals, objectives, and policies to pursue, and prioritizes future projects.  As part of the kickoff for this project, we need as much public feedback as possible to frame the strategic update to the plan.  We have provided a questionnaire and priority survey that we encourage anyone who lives, works, or spends time in the community to fill in.  Any and all feedback is appreciated. Thank you for taking time to participate in this process.

All surveys can be returned to City Hall or sent to Mark Wendorf at or Ben Rohr at

Please have all surveys in by December 31, 2019

Did you know it is Illegal to make a U-turn in the downtown !?!?

Wisconsin State Law does NOT allow a motorized vehicle to make a U-turn mid-block.

State Statute 346.33
The operator of a vehicle may not make a U-turn upon a highway ….. mid-block on any street in a business district, ….. or mid-block on any through highway in a residence district, ….. “mid-block” means any part of a street or highway other than an intersection.
